  April - May 1999: Visit of GTZ to Hangzhou to investigate and assess the hazardous waste management of the Sino-German cooperation programme



  January 2000: Sino-German Hazardous Waste Management Seminar at the Solid Waste Management Center of Zhejiang EPB

  May 2000: Signing of the joint discussion minutes by Mr. Li Zelin, the vice director of Zhejiang EPB and Mr. Shen Longsheng, the vice director of Zhejiang ETC with GTZ representatives on the Programme of Environment-oriented Enterprises Consultancy Zhejiang



  July 2002: Signing of the programme exchange note by Mr. Long Yongtu , Vice Minister of MOFTEC

  September 2002: Mr. Lu Wenge, the Vice Governor approved the establishment of the project leading group and project management office

  November 2002: Mr. Rolf Dietmar, the German Programme Director started his work.



  January 2004: ERM consultancy at EECZ starts

  September 2004: Dr. Vida (ERM Consultant) joins the EECZ team

  April 2005: Programme Progress Review to evaluate the outcomes and development results so far achieved by the Programme. Modification of the programme goals according to the development requirements of Zhejiang.

  October 2005: Chinese partner staff changes, Gu Peilong and Zhang Yu join the Zhejiang Solid Waste Management Centre

  November 2005: Official launch of the EECZ website

  April 2006: Revision of the programme by PriceWaterhouse Coopers.
